Every April and May, during the long rainy season, the dry riverbed that divides Dashir from the village centre is full of water much of the time. This makes our health centre inaccessible to many people coming on foot, unless they can wade through the water - NOT a good idea for the elderly, sick, young children, and pregnant moms. Now they have access all year, and so do the children attending school who are living on the Dashir side.
The appreciation for this project in our community is palpable. Kudos to Elisante and his proud construction team, together with some village volunteers, for making it happen. And thanks to YOU, our faithful supporters, for giving and standing with us, together in health and hope. π«±π»βπ«²πΌ
