EMSA is a well-established educational company on Emergency And Critical Care. EMSA is accredited by American Heart Association (AHA), a Chapter for International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) previously Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) in East Africa and registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika ( MCT)-MCTCPD39 and Tanzania Nurses, and are on the process for the Midwifery Council (TNMC) as a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for registered medical practitioners in Tanzania as Provider

We are experts in the field of Pre-hospital and hospital emergency and Critical Care care solutions that cater to non-medical rescuers, Medical and nursing students nurses, doctors, and paramedics. As an educational company, our workshops and Training are unique in that they provide a self-paced e-learning portion- 2 - 4 weeks before the course and the didactic portion of the program is covered by a series of mini-lectures and Scenario based discussions that are also available on any internet-enabled device. These modules review all of the specifics of how to perform a wide spectrum of educational content specific to the workshops in an adult learning environment. Day 1 of the Emergency and Critical Care Nursing Education Workshop focused on essential life-saving skills that form the foundation of quality emergency and critical care.

Participants engaged in practical and interactive sessions on:
🔹 Oxygenation and Airway Management – understanding timely oxygen delivery, airway assessment, and interventions critical for patient survival.
🔹 Mechanical Ventilation – building competence in ventilator basics, patient monitoring, and safe ventilation practices in critical care settings.

These sessions equipped nurses with hands-on knowledge and clinical confidence, strengthening their ability to respond effectively in high-pressure emergencies.

Today marks the official opening of the Emergency and Critical Care Nursing Education Workshop at Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), officially inaugurated by the Executive Director of MOI, Hon. Ambassador Dr Mpoki Ulisubisya.

Nurses from diverse health facilities have gathered to strengthen life-saving skills in emergency response, critical care, and patient safety — reinforcing a shared commitment to delivering quality, timely, and patient-centred care.
