Tanzania Pharmaceutical Students' Association (TAPSA) The name of the Association shall be referred to as TAPSA. Currently TAPSA represents about 360 pharmacy students from MUHIMBILI UNIVERSITY, ST.

TAPSA, formerly known as ADUPS (association of dar es salaam university pharmaceutical students) was founded in Mid August 1987 by MUHIMBILI University Pharmacy Students, when muhimbili was a collage of university of dar es salaam. when muhimbili became a full university in 2007 ADUPS was changed in to TAPSA (Tanzania Pharmaceutical students' Association) aiming at uniting all pharmacy students in Tanzania. JOHN’S UNIVERSITY and St. Augustine’s University of TANZANIA( BUCHS). TAPSA IS a full member of IPSF (international pharmaceutical students' federation)

TAPSA TANZANIA takes this time to announce the ADOPTION OF THE NEW CONSTITUTION and nullifying all of the previously used constitutions.

This has been reached after the amendments made in the TAPSA constitution and hence causes the need to abolishing of all other constitution.

Please everyone, adhere to these changes by getting rid of other constitutions and get ready to receive a New Constitution From TAPSA TANZANIA trusted Committee of Legal Affairs.

From this time, TAPSA TANZANIA will be governed through the New Constitution adopted today.

MR. WILHELM J MWAKABABU.

Mr. Wilhelm is the second year Bachelor of Pharmacy Student at St. John's University of Tanzania, Dodoma. He is also passionate in health advocacy. Formally, he was the General Secretary of TAPSA AMR task force.

The African Federation of Medical Laboratory Science Students’ Associations (AFMLSSA) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation African Regional Office (IPSF AFRO).
