Aneth Gerana Isaya Aneth Gerana Isaya is a deaf woman, feminist and also a founder and Director of FUWAVITA. She is a fighter, fought in many societal bat A luta continua!

An organisation that aims to empower women and girls with disability through entrepreneurship and leadership programs. She is a fighter, fought in many societal battles and won. She is the first deaf person to acquire University education in Tanzania paving way to many more who have come after me. She have led and joined campaigns across Africa that have changed the World’s mind-set that Disability is not inability. She recently contested to a Member of Parliament special seat to represent Women and Girls with disability, and came in second. To her , inclusion should not be contested, but a given fact if we want to make the world a better place for all.

Earlier today, we extend a warm welcome to Ms. Susan as she joins the FUWAVITA team as our new volunteer. Ms. Susan is not Deaf; she is a young hearing woman with a strong ambition to serve Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) through her academic skills in Social Work. During her time at FUWAVITA, Ms. Susan looks forward to learning sign language, developing entrepreneurship skills, and promoting the inclusion of PWDs.

We wish her the very best as she becomes part of our amazing team, embarking on a journey to explore and make a positive impact in our world.
