Hello to all our supporters and followers, We are delighted to have this opportunity to give you an update of the recent activities at Twiga Vision.

In January, we had Hannah volunteering with us. Hannah worked mainly on the Women's Empowerment Program also she worked on the general office systems. She worked on improving our budget sheet template and created templates for quite a lot of things, She created a fundraising campaign for the woman's empowerment program and conducted an interview with Rabia one of the women in the group. The campaign is doing quite well, we still need people to donate to this cause, so that we can reach the goal of 5000Euros. Hannah also worked on trying to find us organizations that could provide us with new or used laptops, as we have a great need for at least two laptops. She is still working on it. Dear supporters of Twiga Vision Tanzania, we greet you all, hope every one of you is doing well. We have come to say thank you for all the support that you have been providing towards our programs and projects. Also we would like to give you an update of our work and the people who have been helping us recently.

As you may know we had our lovely volunteers Romane and Leane. Romane worked with us for half a year! She came in July 2025 and left in January 2026, during her volunteering she accomplished quite a lot. She helped us with creating a proper volunteer program as well as registering us in a number of volunteer recruiting sites.

Moreover, Romane wrote a proposal for the women’s empowerment program intending to get funds to run a project with the name; “Side By Side with Her”. This project aims at giving 8 to 10 women an opportunity to learn sewing and handcraft skills every year, which would eventually help to start their own businesses which will lead to them being more independent financially and socially.

The project needed quite a lot of funds to fully be implemented; we haven’t been able to get one donor or multiple donors who could fund this project in its entirety. However, we thank God that Romane managed to one donor who donated 500€. This money was spent to do two big jobs, one to help with a toilet project that took half of the funds and the other half was allocated for the women to go to a bead making workshop, which is happening soon. If we got the required funds this project would run for three years each year 8 to 10 women graduating from the program.

Romane also created a lot of documents templates which we often use as well as creating financial worksheets that will help us keep good record of our finances; she also brought to life our then inactive social media platforms. With the help of Leane, she managed to get us back on track on social media. Romane also managed to find us two children sponsors, one being her friend Leane.

Furthermore, Romane ran an online campaign, https://donorbox.org/give-tanzanian-children-a-safe-start-in-life?preview=1770930563 that helps to improve the condition of our partner organization, Unique Choice Daycare School. We managed to reconnect to public water service which had been disconnected for over a year! With the money also we managed to refill the big cooking gas bottle which will last the school for quit long, the teachers also got paid and some other school facilities were improved, for example the first aid kit. Romane who worked so hard to create the graphics of our online posts she did and amasing job! Also she started sponsoring a child with is also incredible. We thank you guys a lot!

In Tanzania, many children from low-income families start school already left behind.�Our partner Unique Choice Daycare Center (UCDC) welcomes 30 young children every day, offering them:�- Two nutritious meals�- Early learning in English�- A safe, loving, and supportive environment

For years, the center has relied on community support to stay open.�But recently, UCDC lost its main sponsor and this sudden loss has put the daycare in a very fragile situation. Families cannot afford full fees and the center is struggling to stay afloat.

🤝Prendre Soin d’Arusha x Twiga Vision Tanzania🤝
Notre association Prendre Soin d’Arusha est heureuse d’annoncer son partenariat avec Twiga Vision Tanzania, une organisation locale à but non lucratif basée à Arusha. Créée par des habitants pour répondre aux besoins de leur communauté, Twiga Vision agit aux côtés des femmes, des jeunes et des enfants issus de milieux sociaux et économiques précaires, afin de renforcer leurs capacités et de favoriser leur autonomie.
Nous nous associons particulièrement à leur programme pour les femmes, qui accompagne 8 femmes marginalisées(mères célibataires, veuves) à travers une formation d’un an construite autour de trois piliers :
1️⃣ Génération de revenus : couture, artisanat et entrepreneuriat
2️⃣ Compétences sociales : dynamique de groupe, prise de parole en public et théâtre social
3️⃣ Autonomisation psychosociale : ateliers sur la santé mentale, la nutrition, les arts créatifs, le sport et la cuisine de groupe
👉 Lors de notre prochain séjour à Arusha, prévu l’année prochaine, notre association interviendra dans ce programme en proposant des cours de prévention en santé, afin d’apporter un complément utile et concret à ce bel accompagnement.
🌍 Ce partenariat illustre notre volonté de soutenir durablement des initiatives locales et de contribuer, ensemble, à l’autonomie et au bien-être des femmes.

SIDE BY SIDE FOR HER STRENGTH

A new project created by and for women in Arusha, Tanzania. 💪

Objective: Improve the economic, social and psychosocial situation of 8 marginalized women (single mothers, widows...).

💡 How ? Through a one-year training program built around 3 key pillars:
1. Income generation (sewing, handcrafts and entrepreneurship)
2. Social skills (group dynamics, public speaking and social theater)
3. Psychosocial empowerment through activities like mental health workshops, nutrition, creative arts, sports and group cooking.

This project was co-designed with the women themselves, local trainers and the French NGO Prendre Soin d’Arusha. After a month of collaborative planning, we’re now entering the fundraising phase.

✨ It’s also a 3-year commitment:
Year 1: intensive training
Year 2: each woman supports a new group, shares her skills and begins her own income-generating activity thanks to a solidarity-based sewing machine program
Year 3: light follow-up by the team to ensure autonomy and sustainable impact

Hello Friends and Supporters of Twiga Vision Tanzania and the general community of Twiga Vision Tanzania, first of all, we are so sorry for taking so long without giving you an update of what is taking place at Twiga Vision currently. As you all know that now we are working on a community centre project.

This community centre will be a multi-purpose centre serving women, children and the youths. The current sub-project that we were working on was the fence wall, this is particularly important because of security purpose as well as keeping things private to the people involved otherwise it would be chaotic.

For the fence wall project, we have reaching to a point where we think our fence is high enough to serve the purpose, we have also managed to install a gate as shown on the photos, now we want to move on to other sub-projects, next in the list is the toilets projet.

Meanwhile, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our recent donors, Tanja, Rachel, and Alexander King, your contributioin have made our fence wall project to reach to its full height. We highly appreciate your generous support.

Another update that we would like to share with you is that we have managed to restart our sewing classess for the Kipepeo's women's empowerment program, the women were really excited to resume this program.

Again, we are kindly asking all our friends and supporters for more support so we can get started with the toilet project. Your support will be so much appreciated. God bless you as you continue supporting us.

Hello friends and supporters of Twiga Vision Tanzania, hope you are all doing well. We are excited to give you an update of what's happening at our organization right now. As you may know, we are currently working on a community centre project. We have several sub-projects on the main project, such as toilt building project, wall fence, room for the women's working place and so on. The current project is the fence wall. We thank God that the fence is almost finished we are only waiting for funds to install a gate and that will be it for the wall fence. We have already made the gate only money to buy cement and pay the workers. We have erected a tent for the women to start having their meetings and working place.

Another good news is, we had a guest who come to visit us, I mean me and the women. Our guest was Romy who promised to start working with us in areas of women's empowerment and childcare. We are so excited to start working with her. She is a great young lady with a lot to share with us of course with other projects as well.

Dear friends and supporters of Twiga Vision Tanzania and followers of our page. We are delighted to announce that our new community centre project is progressing really well. As you may know that it was impossible for us to continue with our first centre premises due to a number of circumstances, one being failure to afford rent. We thank God that we have got a new place to start using as our community centre and we started a project of building toilets, a fence wall and a room for our women's empowerment program. As you can see in the photos we are progressing well. Today the women started meeting here. although it still needs a lot of work. Please help us reach this goal.
