It was on 29 June 1919 that Shree Hindu Mandal – Dar es Salaam was established. After almost 100 illustrious years it is needless to over emphasize the strength and conviction with which our Institution rendered social service to the Hindu Community and the peoples of our great nation, Tanzania.

We currently offer the following services:
- Out patient/casualty/emergency department operating 24 hours, 7 days a week, including holidays
- Maternity, antenatal, postnatal, and vaccination
- Paediatrics and child health
- Inpatient services including medical, surgical, and paediatrics
- Operation Theaters
- Haemodialysis Unit
- Intensive Care Unit
- Ophthalmology Unit
- Dental Unit
- 24-hour laboratory service including hematology, parasitology, microbiology, biochemistry, immunology, histopathology, and blood bank
- 24-hour radiology service including routine and specialised x-ray procedures, ultrasonography, and portable (mobile) x-ray unit
- Cardiac diagnostic services including ECG, spirometry, 24-hour holter monitoring, 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, 2-D echocardiography, vascular doppler, and stress test.
