🌍 Wysłaliśmy nowoczesny laser do ośrodka zdrowia w Kiabakari w Tanzanii 🇹🇿!

Ten sprzęt znacząco podniesie jakość opieki okulistycznej w regionie — pozwoli leczyć pacjentów z wieloma chorobami siatkówki oraz zaćmą wtórną, która może pojawić się po operacji usunięcia zaćmy.

Zakup został zrealizowany w ramach projektu "STOP cukrzycy i utracie widzenia w Tanzanii", którego celem jest zapewnienie dostępu do specjalistycznej diagnostyki i leczenia powikłań okulistycznych związanych z cukrzycą.

🗓 Już na przełomie października i listopada laser zostanie wykorzystany podczas naszej kolejnej misji medycznej!

💙 Dziękujemy wszystkim, którzy wspierają naszą działalność — razem możemy więcej i wspólnie otwieramy oczy na lepszą przyszłość!

📦✈️ Rozpoczynamy przygotowania do kolejnej misji! 🌍💙

Z radością informujemy, że trwają intensywne przygotowania do wyjazdu w ramach naszego dwuletniego Projektu "STOP cukrzycy i utracie widzenia w Tanzanii"! 🇹🇿👁️‍🗨️

Pakujemy sprzęt, szykujemy leki, kompletujemy dokumenty i zbieramy siły, by znów nieść pomoc tam, gdzie dostęp do opieki okulistycznej jest luksusem. Przed nami wiele wyzwań, ale jeszcze więcej nadziei i dobra do podzielenia się. 💪💼🩺

Bądźcie z nami w tej drodze – śledźcie relacje, wspierajcie dobrym słowem i trzymajcie kciuki za udaną misję! 🤍

Happy day today.

On the liturgical feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes and on the International Day of the Sick and Healthcare Professionals we celebrated a little "Technical Opening" and blessing of the new developments in our dispensary and of medical devices financed by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs ( ) in cooperation with Fundacja Kiabakari.

We are grateful to Rev. Fr. Godfried Maruru, Rector of Makoko Seminary, for presiding over the celebration as the main celebrant and the guest of honor.

The official opening of the project "Health 2.0"will be celebrated along with the opening of Nyumba Salama Project later this year, in late October or early November 2025.

A major renovation and modernization of our Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati Health Center is currently underway. Co-financed by The Government of the Republic of Poland and Foundation Kiabakari.

Turning the facility upside down literally. But, hopefully, in a month time, the construction part will be over and setup of new medical equipment and furniture along with seminars will take place.

The project of the renovation and modernisation of our health facility - in cooperation of Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foundation Kiabakari - includes a purchase of a lot of brand-new medical equipment in Dar es Salaam.

The most sensitive machines require careful handling and transportation utilizing our ambulance. The other stuff will come to Kiabakari in a cargo truck.

A new chapter of highly specialized professional medical services in Kiabakari has dawned.
