The Dnipro Medical Institute Student Scientific Society was established in December 2020 by students for students to bring together medical students with an interest in pursuing research during their time at medical school. Our aim as a Student Scientific Society Committee is to coordinate research activities (including scientific conference presentations and publications), and to liase with academic staff for research collaborations in various medical specialties. This is to foster critical thinking and analytical skills that are essential for a career in clinical medicine. Look out for upcoming exciting activities that we have planned for the year such as a weekly Scientific Newsletter and Journal Club meetings. We look foward to connecting with you!!

In our first issue, we share our favourite Pediatric Surgeons medical journey and a last minute Dentistry Krok pep talk from a top perfomin Dentistry student. SUBMISSION! SUBMISSION! SUBMISSION!!!

Hello everyone,

We have an exciting opportunity for you all, DMI Scientific Society is starting a weekly newsletter!

We are doing an open call for anyone that would like to submit an entry for the newsletter, which will be distributed weekly to all DMI students.

We have such a diverse and multi-national cohort at DMI, with many people coming in at different levels with so much experience, this is a great opportunity for anyone to share their advice, speak about any research they are interested in, or have conducted themselves maybe.

Submission Requirements;

150-200 words on a scientific topic of interest to you, to be included in the DMI Scientific Society’s newsletter. (Font is Times New Roman,Size;11, Line Spacing; 1.0).

Please submit with a title and your full name. Please feel free to include a picture with your submission if you would like to.

Some examples include; Reflections on KROK preparations, Research that you have conducted, Electives experience. Advice for graduate entry students etc.
