CHILD BIRTH IN GENEIS DNEPR IVF...
“Since the private maternity hospital “Genesis Dnepr IVF” was opened in our city, a lot of people are keeping asking me what actually makes the difference between a common maternity hospital and private one? Or if it is just an “attempt to follow the fashion” or really high level of medical care? What is the level of safety for mother and her new born baby in such kind of place?
I tried to describe briefly the childbirth process in our clinic, making an emphasis on all strong sides and advantages in the way how they really exist.

GIVING BIRTH IN GENESIS...
When we want to book a room in hotel, usually we try to understand all range of conditions of our future stay in hotel... how many stars does it have, what will be the view from the hotel’s room, what kind of bed and mattress it will be, the mattress will be orthopaedic one or just normal, if the breakfast is included in price and what type of breakfast is it, if there is an air-conditioner, SPA, free WiFi, accessible parking...how far is it from historical part of the city?

There are only two wonderful suite rooms and one delivery room on the floor.

During the labor and delivery time one patient is usually assisted at least by 15 persons from medical service staff:
- two experienced obstetrician-gynecologists: the patient can choose her doctor by herself, it often happens that this doctor is the one who followed the pregnancy and has a pretty close emotional contact with his patient.
- two neonatologists, one from them is a neonatologist and resuscitation specialist it means that in case of emergency the resuscitation assistance will be immediately applied to a new born baby

AFTER GIVING BIRTH
during all days of patient’s hospital stay we provide you a round-the-clock service of PERSONAL midwife and PERSONAL pediatric nurse. This pediatric nurse will take care of your baby day and night long, using only organic products.
You can sleep well and have a good rest recovering your health and your strength. By the day of your discharge from the hospital you will look perfect and completely relaxed. For your convenience we have installed the VIDEO SURVEILLANCE system, using it you can monitor your baby anytime you want. If you feel tired and want to rest you can give your baby to pediatric department and watch him on video cam directly from your room.
All day long of your stay in maternity hospital you baby is attentively controlled by the same neonatologist who carefully monitors the child’s health and teaches the new mother breastfeeding techniques. In case of necessity the neonatologist helps to choose the appropriate formula and special tea to help increase the supply of breast milk.
We apply the PHOTOTHERAPY for infant jaundice treatment and HOLTER MONITOR in order to track the baby’s heart rhythm, NEUROSONOGRAPHY is also always performed and aimed to identify any changes and developmental defects of brain after baby’s birth.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER BIRTH
we apply the ARTERIAL BLOOD GAS (ABG) TEST, BLOOD ELECTROLYTES and BLOOD SUGAR for the assessment of the OXYGEN STARVATION during birth and others NEONATAL DISORDERS and DISEASES to make a right decision.
AVAILABILITY of capillary BILIRUBINOMETER in the our hospital helps your baby to avoid the blood sampling procedure from the baby’s vein.
PERSONAL COOK will cook specially for you taking in consideration your taste and food preferences, breastfeeding trends and particular food habits after surgery (in case of c – section)
Your discharge from the maternity hospital can be organized in a ceremonial way and your baby birth certificate received on the same day.
INDEPENDENT LIFE SUPPORT SYSTEM:
the hospital is equipped with uninterrupted power supply systems, alternative sources of heating and water supply. It is completely independent from the city’s supply systems.
The PERFECT SYSTEM of VENTILATION and AIR - CONDITIONING remains under permanent technical control. The regular filter replacement (each floor has its own
air-conditioning system) allows to prevent the contamination risk inside the hospital.
