Another step forward to release!
Dear fellow modellers, we have some good news for you regarding the preparations of the 1/144 MiG-29 kit for release: knowing how difficult it is to assemble ordnance for 1/144 scale models (attaching etched control surfaces to a missile barely half the size of a matchbox is always a challenge), we decided to produce weapons for all our upcoming MiG-29 models using 3D printing, already fully assembled, with minimum of supports.
Of course, we couldn't resist and tried to make the control surfaces on the missiles as thin as possible. As a result, we are happy to achieve the thickness of 0,25mm!
So, our MiG-29 kits will be equipped with usual R-27R/T (AA-10 Alamo), R-73 (AA-11 Archer), R-60 (AA-8 Aphid) missiles. Our special "Ukrainian pixel" kit will be also equipped with special option: AGM-88 HARM missiles.
Of course, the MiG-29 can carry many other kinds of weapons. So we are already working on making it possible for you to purchase separately: B8M1 pods, S-24 ungided rockets, various 250kg and 500kg bombs and other loads.
