Department of Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care, Transfusiology & Haematology of Kharkov Academy of Postgraduate Education is the leading in the country. Nowdays, dynamic development of the cathedral staff makes department one of the leading training centers of Anaesthetists. Annually our department trains about 12-15 interns, 3-5 medical residents, and 200 students of different training cycles. Lecturers of our department have the great teaching and clinical experience, also have experience in various fields of anesthesiology and intensive care, manufacturing and clinical transfusiology & haematology. The organization of educational process, multidisciplinary compliancing approach to education, availability of varrious training facilities allows students to gain experience with different categories of patients during training and become experts with a wide general medical outlook, also with all the necessary skills in their specialty. Graduates of internship and clinical residency issues the government issued identification and certificate of specialist.
