What to do when emotions come up and drive us crazy?
Emotions are actually our pain triggered by another person’s actions / words. Every time we try to communicate with that other person from our emotional state, it doesn’t work well. Even when we try to say some “right” words, they will not be heard in the right way. So, what do we do?
Step 1. We acknowledge the emotions.
We simply say in our mind “I am feeling very angry / scared / sad now. It is good it came up so that I could let it go”.
Step 2. We let it go.
Here I offer you to work with the element you feel more connected to. Elements are archetypes living in our subconscious and imaginary work with them is percepted by our brain as real.
So, if you are, for example, working with Earth, you start breathing deeply and slowly, imagine that your feet have roots going deep into the Earth. You ask the Earth to kindly take your anger / fear / pain / anxiety as a fertilizer and turn it into happiness and prosperity. You say thank you and feel that your state has changed.
If you work with Fire, you will ask to burn …
If you work with Water, you will ask to wash you from inside and outside …
If you work with Wind, you will ask to draw away the bad things and bring the good. Feel your wings and feel that you are flying.
Step 3. Reconnection and solution with Love.
After your state is changed, you can reconnect with the person. Only when you feel Love to that person, you can talk and find a solution. And it could be that there is no more need to discuss the matter, because the pain is gone and the situation is changed.
