👉Recent IVMED OVO bank’s case: potential partner-clinic have got the trial set of 10 frozen oocytes for patient’s program. From the 1st step of defrosting (6 oocytes): 5 survived and 1 degenerated, from the 2nd step of defrosting (4 oocytes): all 4 successfully thawed.

👍The result of fertilisation (with frozen s***m) cultivation 4 embryos: 2 frozen of day 5; 1 transferred to patient on a day 3; 1 frozen on a day 2.

🫶 We keep our fingers crossed for a successful implantation!

👉The head of the HFEA has highlighted the controversial lack of diversity in egg and s***m donors in the UK. A large number of requirements and restrictions do not allow to offer more choice to patients, especially Asian or West Indian patients.

👉 From our perspective on this issue and based on our experience, we believe that the existing basic principles and requirements for clinics and donors are important and reasonable, and should not change, except for a few points. An approach to solving this issue may be a deeper development of partnerships between clinics around the world.

👉 The problem of not only phenotypic but also genetic diversity may arise very soon for Caucasian patients, especially in European countries with small populations. A key solution may be access to a wider selection of donors from different countries. 👇
