"I am returning to Bologna, I was in Trento for a few days, I am particularly happy because 80% of the patients who have undergone the treatment with me at the ISIDA clinic in Uzhhorod have positive Beta hCG values with excellent growth. 👉The diagnosis of infertility can be caused by various factors. There are several types of infertility: female, male, combined and unclear or idiopathic infertility. But almost half of the cases of infertility are caused by the male factor, so it is important to examine both partners when planning a pregnancy.

👱‍♂️Male infertility is usually asymptomatic and becomes known only as a result of medical examinations.

Among the reasons that can affect the development of male infertility are the following:
🔹abnormalities of testicular development: aplasia, hypoplasia, cryptorchidism, varicocele;
🔸infectious and inflammatory diseases: chlamydia, rubella, gonorrhea, mumps, trichomoniasis, herpes;
🔹chromosomal abnormalities;
🔸a problem with the passage of s***m through the vas deferens caused by an inflammatory lesion, agenesis, trauma, retrograde ej*******on, etc;

ERA-is Endometrial Receptivity Array or Endometrial Receptivity Analysis. It is a genetic test🧬 in which a small sample of a woman's endometrial tissue is taken to assess when the lining of the womb is most receptive to the embryo.
👉An endometrium is receptive when it is ready for embryo implantation. This term is also known as "window of implantation " and it differs from one woman to another.This occurs at a specific time in each menstrual cycle🩸of a fertile woman.
An ERA cycle is performed the same way as you willl prepare for a frozen❄️ embryo transfer, however,instead of actually transferring the embryo, an endometrial biopsy will be performed.
ERA could be beneficial for patients with repeated failure of implantation failure with high-quality embryos in order to identify the best time🕓for transferring the embryo and maximize their chances of a successful pregnancy and live birth👶

Donors of egg cells have to meet strict requirements, because their oocytes need to be successfully fertilized in vitro and cause a successful embryo implantation for the following healthy pregnancy🤰
📌These are general health requirements for an oocytes donor:
🔹Age of women-donors has to be between 18-32 years old;
🔸Donors should have their own healthy children (at least one)
🔹Donors shouldn’t have any phenotype manifestations;
🔸Donors can't have mental or somatic disorders, hard inflammatory diseases at any localization, benign tumors, malignant neoplasms of any localization and presence of hereditary diseases.
🔹Donors' Rh factor should be the same as a future mother-recipient's in order not to cause a Rh rhesus conflict.
📑Additionally, a donor does all the necessary examinations before the program starts:
🔬once: karyotype;
🧬DNA research: fragile X-chromosome syndrome, carrier of a major mutation of the cystic fibrosis gene and spinal muscular atrophy gene;
🩸determination of blood group and Rh factor;
🧑‍⚕️every time before the program starts – consultation with a GP, a group of biochemical, bacterioscopic and other analyses and examinations, consultations of other specialists according to indications prescribed by the doctor of the ART department).

S***m is a key element when we are thinking about fertility treatment. A semen analysis is a test to measure the number and quality of your s***m. There are a few key points to remember to ensure you get the best sample:
🔹Do not have s*x or ma******te for 3 to 5 days (but no longer than 1 week) before you collect the semen sample, as this can affect your s***m count .
🔸Avoid alcohol, caffeine, drugs, greasy and fried food 1 week before the test, as this can affect the volume and motility of s***m;
🔹Do not use hot tubs, baths, and saunas etc for 3-5 days before semen analysis. High temperature has an extremely negative effect on the viability of s***matozoa;
🔸Limit or completely exclude physical exercises and emotional stress.

In-Vitro Fertilization, stages of treatment.
👉How it works?
In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) is probably the most famous method of infertility treatment. But how does it happen and what stages does it consist of? Let’s figure out.
👉Who can use In-Vitro Fertilization method?
Any couple with a confirmed diagnosis of infertility. The reason can be both a male factor (for example, problems with the quality of s***m), and a female factor (diminished ovarian reserve, obstruction of the fallopian tubes, etc.)

Stages of IVF:
🔹After reviewing the examination results, the doctor creates an individual treatment plan for patients and plans the date of the ovarian puncture procedure;
🔸The eggs obtained as a result of the egg collection are fertilized by the man's s***m and begin their development to the embryo stage in a laboratory environment; 🔹Approximately on the 5-6th day of development, the embryo is transferred to the uterine cavity of the woman;
🔸If the embryo transfer is successful, the embryo attaches to the endometrium and continues its growth.
