Записи реєстрації дитячих будинків як джерело для генеалогії.
У післявоєнний період багато дітей опинилися без батьків: багато людей загинуло у бойових діях, концтаборах, у єврейських гетто, від злиднів, голоду, тощо. Записи сиротинців 1940 - 50-х відкривають величезний пласт інформації про цілі групи осіб даних про народження яких немає у інших джерелах. Додаю декілька обкладинок і сторінок облікових журналів Львівських сиротинців, як унікального джерела генеалогічної інформації.
Registers of orphanages as a source for genealogy. In the postwar period, many children were left without parents: many people died in hostilities, concentration camps, in Jewish ghettos, from poverty, starvation, and so on. Records of orphanages of the 1940s and 1950s reveal a vast layer of information about entire groups of people that is not available in other sources. I am adding several covers and pages of registers of Lviv orphanages as a unique source of genealogical information.
