Our Upcoming Project:
Our program plans to build a shelter where HIV+ homeless children can seek shelter and medical treatment for an extended period of time. The funding received will be used to erect a medical facility and a dormitory; as well as hire staff members such as a doctor, 24 hour medical staff, a lawyer and a psychologist. “The Way Home” has already had great success in the field of providing new lives for the homeless children of Odessa, Ukraine, so the knowledge of how to run such a facility is already present. The funding would most importantly give children a chance to stay positive and get back to a “normal” life by enrolling in school, socializing with friends and participating in leisure activities such as sports.
