With the advent of cold weather, the usual skin care regimen needs to be adjusted.

✅ Switch to the most gentle cleansers for the skin (please do not use soaps and gels with lauryl sulfate🙏). The best choice is delicate gel/foam/mild lait cleanser.

✅ Be sure to use toner after washing. The main task of the toner is to normalize the pH on the skin surface, which should normally be slightly acidic. Cleansers shift it to the alkaline side, which is one of the main reasons for excessive dryness / sensitivity / rashes

✅ Putting aside water gels and light fluids until next summer, moving on to more nutritious products. Look for ceramides, squalane, niacinamide, vitamin E, natural oils in the cream - these components will help strengthen the lipid barrier of the skin.

✅ Autumn and winter is the peeling seasons. Over the summer, many of us develop pigmentation, hyperkeratosis (rough skin) and rashes. These problems are well solved with the help of a course of peels in the salon and a home regimen with acids.

✅ Cold and strong wind negatively affect the capillaries. Be sure to apply your protective cold cream 30 minutes before going outside. And add vaso-strengthening vitamin serums to your regimen.

✅ The air in the room has become drier, so make sure that your body, including your skin, receives the necessary amount of moisture. Use a humidifier and ventilate the area regularly.

As promised, I'm showing you an effective turkey neck exercise.
We release tension on the back of the neck and relax the trapezius muscles. Do this exercise daily (you can do it several times a day) and you will see that your neck and face really change for the better.

By the way, this exercise accomplishes several targets:
- turkey neck
- slides on the shoulders, which visually "eat up" the long neck
- fatty deposits in the area of ​​the 7th vertebra "widow's hump".

How to do it right:
🌼bridge your hands behind the back
🌼squeeze your shoulder blades and raise your shoulders as much as possible
🌼on inhale, lower your head back to the zone of the 7th vertebra
🌼hold the clench for 10 seconds
🌼return to the starting position and stretch the zone. Stretch very slowly
🌼repeat 3 times

Why does the skin in the junction of the chin into the neck lose its elasticity?

Most of you think stretched skin is to blame. But this is not true. I keep repeating that skin cannot stretch on its own. It struggled to adapt to the changes in the neck and when there was "no more" reserve - the skin sagged.

With age, the skin begins to change its relief. First of all, the sternocleidomastoid muscles begin to be outlined. They thicken, shorten and shift towards the center of the neck, pulling the surface tissues and skin with them.

These problems with the sternocleidomastoid muscle are not due to aging, but due to our habit of constantly pushing our neck forward (towards the monitor, towards the phone screen). By pushing the neck forward, we shorten our length at the back of the neck. Ladies, the neck is really getting shorter. From 10 cm of the norm, by the age of 50, only 5 cm can remain.

Now imagine that the skin and subcutaneous fatty tissue on the neck is soft clay that evenly covers the neck column, even on all sides.
Have you presented? And now imagine what would happen if the neck became unevenly long? That's right, the skin begins to droop, because the previous volume, which the skin covered, is gone.

What to do?

It is very important not only to do facial exercises, but also to understand why you are doing this and which muscle groups affect the changes in your face.

The eyes are not only the mirror of our soul, but also the mirror of our age. Sunken, with drooping eyelids under drooping eyebrows, they brighty testify of our age.

So often I hear from you that only sagging skin is guilty. I wish I could find a working cream and everything will fall into place. However, in addition to the eyelid skin, the main culprits of its visual sagging are aged muscles - the frontal, temporal and circular muscles of the eye.

👉 Usually, the eye circular muscle spasms with age. Its shrinkage, like all circular muscles (including the mouth circular muscle), works on the principle of narrowing the camera diaphragm, the blades of which roll up along the upper eyelid almost always towards the inner corner of the eye, and along the lower eyelid towards the outer corner.
The skin of the upper eyelids, which has become superfluous in this case, overhangs and folds.

I'll tell you a little secret 👉in most cases normalizing of frontal and temporal muscles is enough - the overhanging of the upper eyelids will disappear by itself.

👉 If the lower eyelid skin is tightly pressed against the muscle, wrinkles begin to form on it. In the case of frequent edema or the constant presence of excess fluid between the skin of the eyelids and muscles (due to poor lymphatic drainage), it begins to hang in "bags". Remember to work on clearing the channel to drain stagnant fluid ➡️ remove the clamps in the ear area and neck.

👉 Often, in cases of a particularly strong deformation of the eye circular muscle, eye cut is noticeably reduced - the eyes seem to sink, "fall" inward.

There is no need to be afraid to work with the eye area. Of course, it is very gentle, but with the right technique, you will never harm your skin!

And remember, local work in the eye area does not give a long-term effect. Do exercises primarily for the neck, ears, scalp, temples and forehead.

Press your hands firmly to your face and slowly move your palms to your ears. It's like you want to squeeze all the stagnant fluid out of your face.
Fix the formed fold of skin in front of the ear for 10 seconds and then, with vibrating movements, descend along the lateral surface of the neck to the supraclavicular cavities.

A client received a homework assignment from me - a set of exercises for stretching the neck and chest.
The problem of the sagging oval in this case appeared due to the curvature of the position of the neck and stoop.
