African Center of Excellence in Bioinformartics(ACE), Uganda

The African Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics, or ACE, is a consortium of research and training centers facilitated by NIH’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in collaboration with research institutions in Africa, private sector companies, and the Foundation for the NIH.

ACE delivers high-performance computing infrastructure and training to collaborating research and academic institutions in Africa through a public-private partnership based on in-kind contributions.

The Center provides researchers with mentoring, compute resources, and the bioinformatics tools necessary for advanced data analysis.
