Stepping Stone Platform is a registered non-profit, youth-centered social enterprising organization that empowers and builds knowledge and skills of Adolescents and Young People (AYP) through health education, coaching, and mentorship in Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, career guidance, life skills, talent and purpose discovery. The organization was founded in 2019, with offices and a Stepping Stone center located at Kitetika off Gayaza – Kampala Road

The purpose-driven knowledge and skilling facilitate the AYPs to make sense of their lives and take paths that exploit their full potential through innovation, creativity, self-love, and talent discovery resulting in improved careers and lives thereby serving as they were created and fitted to serve. We are responsible for facilitating sessions, developing teen-parent conflict resolution strategies, career building, and scheduling regular counseling sessions for teenagers. The complementary focus on SRHR is because it is an opportune time to build the capacity of the next generation of adults with the relevant knowledge and skills to enable them to thrive as adults and overcome challenges in their environment. This helps teenagers take life paths by making correct holistic choices about their bodies, career, and future. Teenagers benefit from the information that will assist them to make good decisions about all aspects of their life, they are more likely to stay in school, take care of themselves, and be successful in future activities, whether that is raising a family, being a community leader, or having a job and a career. Our ripple effect is through collaborations with professionals, Mentors, and Teen Ambassadors to promote the organization’s mission and vision.
