Roki was brought with a big circumferential wound around his waist☹️ he had been captured by a snare during hunting. He was badly off and his guardian was considering putting him down to end his suffering😣 However, we convinced him that we can do our best and save Roki, so he could give him a chance. Roki has stayed with us for three months. The delay in the healing was because his wounds were septic on arrival, and they had to be cleaned and dressed daily for the first two weeks. The left side was responding faster than the right and was sutured first. He was kept on antibiotics and painkillers for the first few days.
By the end of the 10ty week, the wounds had sealed but we delayed to release him because such cases normally come back worse before full recovery. By the end of the 12th week, he was in good shape and all the hairs had even grown back. The guardian was so happy to see Roki lively again.
They are now living happily together once again 🥰
