Final Day of training of para-counsellors of Uganda Christian University Mukono by FORE Tranquil Homes and Break Free Rehabilitation Centre. We believe this effort that's geared towards forming and nurturing a students led Drug Free Club of UCU will greatly boost the University's prevention efforts as well as see those battling the disease of addiction guided to the appropriate professionals for help. Please invite us to your academic institutions(primary, secondary and university), and we will help create these clubs. Together we can help push back against the cancer of addiction.

Day 1 of training of para-counsellors of Uganda Christian University Mukono.
Topic: Addiction(Prevention science, Treatment, and Science of Addiction). This group of students will form the first cohort of UCU Drug Free Club. This is similar to what we did with Kyambogo University 5 years ago during the formation of KYURI(Kyambogo University Rehabilitation Initiative). The training was a collaboration between FORE Tranquil Homes, Break Free Mental Health Care, Treatment, and Rehabilitation Centre, and the Counselling Department of UCU. We strongly believe that in order to push back against the cancer of addiction, young people must be at the forefront of prevention efforts at institutions of learning and around their communities.
