PREABLE:
BEARING in mind that KAMPALA HIGH OLD STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION is an original association that will be involved in all development aspects that can make a human being live, a comfortable life among the members especially the unemployed, the students at school, our vulnerable members, the elderly, youth and women. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: of the increasing, biting poverty in our societies and that the majorities of our members have the list levels of savings and can hardly have a meaningful living who are helpless and living under unfavorable social, economic and health conditions in our area of operation within Uganda. AWARENESS:,..,/ of the fact that poverty, suffering, poor nutrition, poor sanitation, environmental degradation, poor transport and vulnerability to diseases can be reduced by a hard working and co ordinate human force, and that the members have the potential to develop themselves and the environment surrounding them, but are stalled by the latter which is a result of poor economic conditions, lack of sensitization and coordination and awareness of the dangers of HIV/AIDS. CONSCIOUS that the majority of the members purely depend on the natural environment for survival as well as the informal sector and are willing to be involved in the development process of their families, communities and the nation at large but solutions for serious cultural, environmental, health and economic issues have not been effectively addressed. CONVINCED of the potentiality and readiness of our members to improve their social economic and cultural problems through family re organization and guidance and need for self advancement, self sufficiency and development. KHOSA as a charitable, non political and Community Based Association(C.B.A) is hereby established entirely for the well being of our members as the only solution to such helplessness and to be governed and guided by the Articles stated in the constitution.
