"DID YOU KNOW THE CAUSES OF HEMORRHOIDS IN INFANTS (kids)?"

Hemorrhoids are pretty rare in kids, but Constipation is not. But still constipation can trigger a hemorrhoid.

CAUSES

1. First is "VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY"
As a rule, the child is already born with abnormally dilated veins in the pelvic area, which leads to the emergency of hemorrhoids during 2-5 days of life.

2. Second is, "problems with the GASTROINTESTINAL TRACT (GIT)". In consequence with that, the wrong defecation occurs. In this case it's important to teach a child to sit on the potty when he or she wants to.

3. Third is "SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE". Unfortunately these days the children from an early age prefer to spend more time watching TV. Their not interested in games involving movement. This can also cause hemorrhoids.

4. Fourth cause. "LOW FIBER RICH DIET". Kids now days are left to eat only what they want (sweet for the mouth) rather than what will benefit their health.

5. Fifth cause "HEREDITARY". Someone else in the family has suffered from hemorrhoids. It's in the genes, but the effects can be minimised.

MOTHERS, NOTE PLEASE:
If a Child cries incessantly & is stressed, the blood will rush towards his/her pelvic area and increase pressure on the abdomen. This blood may stagnate in the area of the re**um, which then can cause piles.

How do you know that your baby is suffering from hemorrhoids?

1. Small swollen areas near the re**um.
2. Pain & itching in the re**um can occur.
3. Blood can be seen in the kid's stool or near the re**um when whipping.
4. Slight constipation which occurs due to improper balance of microflora in the gut.
5. Mucus like substance from the a**l area.
