On August 22, 2025, Dr. Edward Tamale Sali had the honor of attending the "Breaking the Silence" Symposium at the August 22, 2025, Dr. Edward Tamale Sali had the honor of attending the "Breaking the Silence" Symposium at the ugust 2025, Dr. Edward Tamale Sali had the honor of attending the Breaking the Sheraton Kampala Hotel as a featured speaker.

The event, organized by Rainbow Hearts Foundation (RHF), focuses on the theme “Beyond the Silence: Strengthening Support, Policy, and Access to Infertility Care.” Now in its second year, the symposium serves as a vital platform, transforming how infertility is perceived and addressed in Uganda—championing policy reform, strategic partnerships, and inclusive, stigma-free fertility care.

This year, over 250 participants, including healthcare providers, mental health professionals, policymakers, media, employers, and community advocates, came together to:
✅ Promote fertility-inclusive workplaces
✅ Build powerful partnerships for sustainable infertility care
✅ Advocate for access, affordability, and integrated mental health services

Dr. Sali contributed his expertise, sharing insights on holistic fertility care and the importance of addressing infertility not only as a medical issue but also as a social, emotional, and economic concern.

The symposium continues to inspire long-term institutional and societal change, turning silence into solidarity and awareness into action.
