It’s Official: A Brand-New Human Organ Has Been Classified

Recent research has revealed that our body has a new extra organ that we failed to discover all these years. Medical experts have now classified this brand new organ, and it’s shocking that it was right there in side our digestive system, performing its duties, and we had no idea!
Medical researchers have managed to obtain insight about the structure and location of this new organ, however, they are still struggling to understand its functions and necessity. However, they strongly believe that understanding and studying this organ can help create more effective treatments for several digestive and abdominal ailments.
This new organ inside the digestive system has been given the name of mesentery, and for years, researchers thought that it consisted of several fragmented and separate parts. However, recent experimentations and examinations have negated such beliefs and revealed that the mesentery is one continuous organ. This new revelation has been classified and updated under the classification of this new organ published in the The Lancet Gastroenterology & Hepatology.

Dr. J Calvin Coffey, a prominent researcher at the University Hospital Limerick, Ireland, was the first to discover the existence of the mesentery. And he, along with several other notable medical researchers, examined and reviewed the organ and reported that its existence has not been detectable until recently. That proves that the anatomic structure that we have been following for centuries is flawed and prone to mistakes. Contrary to earlier notions, this new organ isn’t complex and fragmented into several structures, but is rather one continuous organ.
The groundbreaking research conducted by medical students last year highlighted the existence of the mesentery as a separate organ. It’s existence and definition has also been updated in the most prest
