My name is Dave from Masaka seeking help, I need to go to a rehabilitation home. I need a second chance to change my life, my sister has helped me but reached a point where she can no longer continue with me. My father grew up in Kampala and my mother grew up in Kampala (my father died May he rest in peace), I am the firstborn of 7 children in our family, I went to school and ended in primary two. I was adopted in 1995 by the family of kibaya family in England.
I have been addicted to drinking alcohol and smoking for now 27 years, if I remember it was in 1995 when I went to a bar and bought four bottles of beer that was my first taste of alcohol. For the next six years, I used to drink but I was not addicted too much to alcohol. My addiction began when I came back from England we had some failures with my girlfriend and this sparked my addiction and my adopted parents were not with me they were in England. The depression, stress, anxiety of losing a girlfriend made me who I am currently.
I have always wanted to live alcoholism but seems I have failed to The first time I went into a rehabilitation home I got so healthy and I was feeling good but now I am sick because I have failed to control my addiction. I am asking my caretakers to take me back to the rehabilitation Centre if they can because it is the only place that can help me overcome this addiction.
I kindly ask people to help me get back to the rehabilitation Centre. After all, I do believe I can change and be normal again if any person can help me get into the rehabilitation center because I believe every person can get a second chance. Nalongo Mukiibi the E.D Drug and Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Centre who has helped me and she is willing to pay for the transport fares to the rehab but any other person who can help me get food and drinks to feed in the rehab is highly welcomed.
