In scary times like these, What has been the most important need in this pandemic? While you think about the answer to that, let me tell you about what we have created for times like these.

First, in Uganda, we’ve built a mobile application that will support the nurses in their work so they can save more lives.
Through the research of the state of the country, we found that a nurse is supposed to care for about 30 patients in a short time frame and have no monitoring. You find that the nurse can’t satisfy all the nursing procedures with all those big numbers, so really these patients, some may end up dying if not monitored very well.
Through a bedside monitoring app carefully curated and developed to enable nurses to work smarter by providing them with the right information at the right time, learn and communicate to other nurses on the platform, hence improving the efficiency of bedside monitoring. We are pleased to work with Global Health Courses Uganda, Seed Global Health, Mbarara University of Science & Technology and other partners to equip nurses and other clinicians to become global health leaders! The Tatu Nurse platform enables nurses to access interactive learning content both on and offline!! More than 350 care givers will be using our app for this cause beginning Monday next week!!

More than 90% of the nurses in Uganda use paper and pen to track patient vital signs. Many vitals are missed. Many patients are not monitored continuously. Continuous monitoring of patients is key to avoid deterioration that may lead to admission in ICU.

• You will provide clinical input, research and nursing guidance to TatuNurse educational programs
Qualifications
• Must be a registered licensed nurse
• Have 5-10 years of experience as a nurse with experience in low-resource settings
• Be a technology enthusiast, passionate about technology and its power to change the world
• Be a leader, self-starter and impact driven
• Be able to work with remote teams all over the globe
• Experience with leading teams
