With support from Red Umbrella & UNESCO seed grant, OWEC has conducted a workshop on conceptualizing & understanding unfavourable laws and policies for s*x workers in Uganda.
It has focused on key laws that criminalise s*x workers &s*xual identity such as (AHA) act, the s*xual offence bill etc. Members gained a comprehensive understanding of legal landscape surrounding s*x work & s*xual identity in Uganda.

With support from Uneso and Red Umbrella, Owec has conducted Health facility based interface meeting,at Rwekubo Health centre .we inganged the District health educator,the HIV focal person ,and key heath workers in different health centre from Isingiro district.we spearhead discussions and collaborations on health related issues that arise as results of luck of advocacy.by workings together we collectively found solutions to these advocacy gaps.and this will eventually lead us to better health services delivery to our members.
