Dear parents and guardians, kindly take your children for a session with a CHILD PSYCHOLOGY the same way you have had them visit a Dentist. Do not assume your child is o.k, it won't hurt having that session but a lot is at stake if they're not well and you took so long to realize. Because she laughs and plays does not mean all is well. Sometimes that laughter is a cover for the secret pain.

As we face the challenge of young girls becoming mothers while they are still children themselves, we also face the challenge of HIV/AIDS. The men who got them pregnant also infected them with HIV 💔

My oh my!!! What a challenge we have been faced with!! The number of teenage mothers during the covid period is overwhelming. Main stream schools need to accept these girls to continue with their education. Giving birth does not mean her IQ and brain bled out. She's still the same girl with the dream and ability to become a doctor or astronaut. Giving birth will slow her down but should not stop her. Let's give her a little push with resources, encouragement, positive attitude, etc. Happy new year.

As we support our girls in the community, let's give special attention to their mental health, depression to be specific. DEPRESSION AMONG OUR CHILDREN is a private group you could need to join to learn and share more about mental health in children.
