The AIDS Support Organization, TASO Soroti Centre

The AIDS Support Organization, TASO Soroti Centre TASO Soroti Centre in located in Eastern Uganda TASO Soroti was established in 2005. It has a dedicated and motivated staff body of 70 full time staff.

To date, it has served 17,000 people living with HIV and there families in the commuities of Soroti, Katakwi, Kumi, Amuria, Serere, Ngora and Kaberamaido districts; near 4,000 of these patients are on ART. The centre has 5 operational units that include psychosocial support, medical care, information management, advocacy, human resources and administration, and finance.
