The selfless acts of Police Officer, Florence Fuuna will leave you with more than teary eyes. Florence rose above and beyond her call to Law enforcement when she took on full guardianship, and nurtured to good health a 6 year old boy with SCD who had been left for dead. JJF holds you in high esteem Florence

Home visits. Meeting a new family with a 12 year old bedridden son. They had no idea whatsoever what the Sickle Cell Disorder was and the support they could extend their son. Thank you Harriet for introducing JJF to this family.

The knowledge gap on is huge; the stigma, the blame, denial, and misconceptions about SCD are real. It is those private one-on-one moments after each session that reassure us our cause is not in vain.
