Bbale Faith Medical Center

Bbale Faith Medical Center was opened on May 15th 2021. The health center is a family inspiration in process.

We are a local health center located in Bbale Mukenda village a rural end of Wakiso District in the central part of Uganda (40 minutes’ drive from Kampala). Having grown up in this village, as young people we saw various issues of accessing medical care. Our parents, guardians, neighbors walked 5 to 10 miles to the nearest government health centers. Some died before getting there, mothers lost their lives and children due to delivery complications, lives were shortened due to lack of timely diagnosis and treatment. Most of us survived by herbal concoctions and natural immunity. As children we vowed to set up a health center in our own village so as to serve those that are living there and beyond.

Under our Faith Mobile Care Clinic program (for the elderly) we make outreach in our community and among the services, we have provided the elderly people with counseling (them and their care givers) monitoring their blood pressure and diabetes. We also provided them with vitamin supplements, washing soap, ointments, milk, sugar and other basic things used in day to day life.
