We are excited to welcome Dr. Matt and his family as our new owners and provider at First City Dentistry.

Dr. Matthew Bluth graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2017. After dental school he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Postdoctoral Program, which had an emphasis on implant dentistry, at New York University. Dr. Matt is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and is currently working towards getting his fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Matt is bilingual and was born in Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico, but spent the majority of his life in the Southwestern United States. In 2018 his dental career began at Marshfield Clinic’s Dental Center. It didn’t take long after moving to Central Wisconsin that the Bluth’s knew that this is where they would put down roots due to the unique authenticity and kindness of the community.

Dr. Matt and Shawnee, his wife, love this area (winters included) and are excited to raise their two kids, Xoey and Axel, in such an amazing community. Xoey and Axel keep them busy with various sports and school activities. The Bluth’s have a passion for cooking, food is a big part of their lives because “it brings people together”. They also love the outdoors and anything that involves their family and friends.

Dr. Matt has a passion for continued education and strives to provide each of his patients with the same kindness, compassion and skill that he would deliver to his own family. He is excited to continue providing patient-centered dental care here at First City Dentistry.

To our Patients:

We feel it is every business’s responsibility to help others in their community and beyond. We also believe taking care of our staff and patients is our number one priority this includes public health, the COVID-19 pandemic, and now the vaccines. Therefore, here is some information for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Benefits of Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine
(Information from the CDC, Up-dated April 12th, 2021)

All COVID-19 vaccines currently available in the United States have been shown to be safe and effective at preventing COVID-19.
Getting vaccinated yourself may also protect people around you, particularly people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.

COVID-19 vaccination is a safer way to help build protection.
COVID-19 can have serious, life-threatening complications, and there is no way to know how COVID-19 will affect you.
And if you get sick, you could spread the disease to friends, family, and others around you.

COVID-19 vaccination will be an important tool to help stop the pandemic. Wearing masks and staying 6 feet apart from others help reduce your chance of being exposed to the virus or spreading it to others, but these measures are not enough. Vaccines will work with your immune system so it will be ready to fight the virus if you are.

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective.
We understand that some people may be concerned about getting vaccinated now that COVID-19 vaccines are available in the United States. While more COVID-19 vaccines are being developed as quickly as possible, routine processes and procedures remain in place to ensure the safety of any vaccine that is authorized or approved for use. Safety is a top priority, and there are many reasons to get vaccinated.

None of the COVID-19 vaccines can make you sick with COVID-19.
None of the COVID-19 vaccines contain the live virus that causes COVID-19 so a COVID-19 vaccine cannot make you sick with COVID-19.

If you have any questions on where you can get the vaccination, feel free to contact our office.

❤️ Sat, Oct 10th is WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY ❤️

Take a break from chaos, schedules, and constantly being on the go - refresh, relax, and just breathe. Mental illness week is to bring awareness to the very real and ever-growing attack that is placed on lives all across this world. Encourage someone today, and be encouraged that help is available.
- Even creation reminds us that the darkness is always followed by a new day of light - ☀️

Mental illness is more common than you think. One in five Americans live with a mental health condition. Nearly one in seven U.S. kids and teens has a mental health condition. Only half will seek treatment (NIMH). Let’s work together to change this!

Braveness is defined as "ready to face and endure something". It's not always easy to ask for help, but it certainly can be one of the bravest and life-changing things you do! Our emotions were designed not to dictate our actions but to alert us and promote self-awareness. Don't let them fool you into thinking there is no way out. Your life is precious and nobody can replace you. ❤️
