Look, I get it. Many pelvic PTs are out of network with insurance because insurance is a royal pain in the ass and doesn't pay us a living wage a lot of the time.
Unlike ortho specialties pelvic health pros can't and don't want to double or triple or quadruple book clients.
Even if you do find a 1:1 network provider high deductibles can slap you hard after the fact.
Coordinating childcare for little and big kids adds to the mental load and I understand how it just falls down the list of things you do. I always allow kids in 1:1 and while it sometimes makes things more complicated, to me, it adds a little fun and variety to my day. I also understand because I have three choas demons of my own.
It's all a lot. Especially right now. Enter: the Pelvic Balance Series. I literally teach a free /pay what you can online 30 mins 2x/week class that is going to support your healing. Sometimes I have small people helping and sometimes they are hanging off my b**b.
My stories were popping off yesterday with loads of "super mom" but I'm not super. I'm doing what everyone else in my classes and my practice is doing what we do best, which is - just make it work.
So comment class and I'll send you the link to the Feb/March series

For our in person clients with Tricare! I know our system is sending you lots of emails about your balances! I can't stop them unfortunately.
January claims have not processed yet and we are hoping we get the EOBs soon!
If you paid your balance- you're too sweet- thank you. You will be refunded if there was any overpayment once we get the EOBs
It's always a learning curve with Tricare and small biz ownership πŸ˜†πŸ˜ŠπŸ₯²πŸ™ƒ

What if your pelvic floor isn't really the problem at all?
When I was diagnosed with prolapse and was leaking p*e my only solution offered was kegels. I did struggle to contract my pelvic floor during my assessment but that assessment didn't take into consideration the big picture.
It didn't look at my nervous system, my breathing, my hips, my thorax and definitely not my feet or neck.
A pelvic floor that can't squeeze in isolation isn't the whole picture. I am proof of that. No leaking, no pressure. My "kegel" strength ? Still 2/5 on exam πŸ˜… . But how can that be? Maybe it wasn't about the squeeze at all?
If you're struggling with your leaking, the clips in the video aren't going to magically solve all your problems- Let's be real- it's a process-I know- annoying. But I gotta at least try to play algo games.
What I can offer is my 4 week pelvic balance series: It will not only address all of the things above, but also offers community, connection and at free/no cost as it is pay what you can.
DM or comment class and I'll send you the link ❀️☺️

Comment PRO if you want more info about the professional mentorship community I teach in with
being really damn good at this doesn't have to be complicated. I would argue before you master the nuances and the complexity lean into the basics.

Hydration, urinary urgency, frequency, volume, bladder irritants, bowel
I'm not saying your whole body approach needs to go out the window- def not- sometimes you need it to get the basics under control/ but just don't get too ahead of yourself and take things one step at a time. Often you'll get there faster when you do!
Doors close Jan 31 for the quarter as we are trying out a new delivery method in the community! Don't miss out! Also we now also offer a 30 day free trial to test the waters so what have you got to lose?
