Please join us in celebrating Volunteer Week and recognizing the individuals who give their time, energy, and heart to support Harbor Regional Health.
This year, we also want to offer a special and heartfelt remembrance of volunteer Nick Rainier, who recently passed away. Nick was part of our HRH volunteer family, and we are deeply grateful for the time, kindness, and service he shared with our organization and community. We extend our sincere condolences to his loved ones and all who knew and cared for him. His contribution will be remembered with gratitude.
Our volunteers play an important role in the experience we provide to our patients, visitors, teams, and community. Whether they are greeting visitors, assisting departments, helping behind the scenes, or simply offering a kind and steady presence, they help create an environment that reflects who we are and what we stand for.
Please join us in thanking and celebrating our Harbor Regional Health volunteers:
Brooke Bogdanovich, Brooklynn Crisp, Charlie Reibel, Cheryl Menefee, Chelsey Wright, Cindy Castle, David Bordhead, Debbie Fauber, Elliott Jolley, Jane Reibel, Jean Stevens, Larry Flynn, Lilianna Lopez-Ruiz, Mary Reeves, Molly McMillan, Myrna Sickels, Nick Rainier, Reagan McElliott, Renee Dagnen, Sing Lee, Sophie King, Susan Alexander, Tanya King, Tim Hartman, and Victoria Miller.
We would also like to extend special recognition to Karen Shafer, Volunteer Supervisor, for her many years of leadership and dedication to our volunteer program. Her commitment to supporting and uplifting our volunteers has made a lasting impact on both our team and the community we serve.
“Our volunteers give something incredibly meaningful, their time, their compassion, and their commitment to others. They remind us that healthcare is not just about treatment, it is about people caring for people. I am grateful for the role they play in supporting our team and serving our community. They are an important part of how we live out our mission every day.”
Tom Jensen, CEO
