How we talk about mental health during pregnancy and postpartum matters.

A qualitative research study is exploring patient–clinician communication regarding perinatal mental health, and researchers want to hear directly from community members, clinicians, and parents.

This study will gather perspectives on how mental health conversations happen, what feels supportive (or not), and how communication can be improved for families.

Participants will attend a 90-minute Zoom focus group and complete a brief demographic survey.

All participants will receive a $50 electronic gift card.

Eligibility:
🔵 Representatives from maternal health–focused organizations or those who engage with pregnant/postpartum people in their programming
🔵 Clinicians who work with pregnant or postpartum patients/clients
🔵 Individuals who are currently pregnant or up to 2 years postpartum
