Kids get a chance to do an art project, play at early learning stations, hear a story, sing songs, and get some energy out. Parents can pick up resources, diapers, and talk with other parents and Parent Educators from the Parents as Teachers program.

Ability @ Work recognizes October’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month by honoring employers and employees who demonstrate that inclusive workplaces strengthen our workforce. The event highlights success stories and celebrates those leading the way in equitable and accessible hiring practices.

These success stories are made possible through funding from Developmental Disabilities Community Services and are implemented and overseen by the County through Individual Supported Employment services, which support meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities across our community.
