At ARS we believe Veterans Day is important for understanding the connection between military service and substance use because it's a time to acknowledge the challenges veterans face, including high rates of substance use often linked to mental health issues like PTSD and depression. The holiday serves as a reminder to support veterans by raising awareness of these struggles, promoting mental and addiction treatment, and highlighting the need for veteran-specific care.

We’re filling the SNAP gap!! If you are a SNAP shopper, bring your SNAP card to our Third Way Farm barn store or to our stand at the havre de grace farmers market on Saturdays , starting on November 1st, and recieve a $25 credit with us! With our SNAP gap credit, you are free to choose whatever fruits or veggies you’d like and 1lb of ground beef, up to $25 in value.

You can help us fill the SNAP gap too! Use our pay it forward program on our website or in person to help us cover the cost of food being shared with our community.
