✨ Kids Bus Ministry at Abernathy United ✨

We’re excited to offer a wonderful Sunday experience just for kids! Every week, our team provides:

🚌 Safe, friendly pickup
🍳 A yummy breakfast
🎉 Fun games & activities
❤️ A meaningful Children’s Church lesson
🚐 Drop-off back home afterward

If your child would enjoy a fun and encouraging Sunday morning, we’d love to include them! This program is open to any family who’d like a little extra help getting their kids to church.

Parents! 📣 This Sunday you can pick up a set of Biblical Parenting Cards in the Parenting Resource Center on your way upstairs to drop off your kids. These cards offer Scripture, encouragement, and questions to help you bring God’s Word into everyday parenting moments.

🌟Wednesdays at Kids United Recap 🌟

This week we learned a rock-solid truth: God never changes! 🪨

We are meant to know God, and one thing we can know about Him is that He is always faithful and always keeps His promises - from Adam and Eve to Jesus!

📖 Theme Verse:
"This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent—Jesus Christ." — John 17:3

🎉 Parents: Kids who come back and say their theme verse from memory will receive a prize!

This Sunday at Kids United…

This week we zoom out and show kids the big picture: the whole Old Testament is pointing to Jesus. From the first words of Genesis to the last words of the prophets, God was unfolding His plan to send a Savior.

John 1 reminds us that Jesus is the eternal Word—God Himself—who became human and lived among us. Luke 1 introduces John the Baptist, the “messenger” who would prepare the way for Jesus, just as the prophets foretold.

✨ MAIN POINT:
All of Scripture points to Jesus—God’s promised Rescuer and King.

💡 CHRIST CONNECTION:
God spoke through prophets in the Old Testament and promised a Savior. When the time was right, He sent Jesus and called John the Baptist to prepare the way. Anyone who trusts in Jesus will be saved.

❓ BIG PICTURE QUESTION:
What is the Bible about?
👉 The Bible is the story of God’s plan to save people through Jesus.

✨ Wednesday at Kids United Recap ✨

This week, our kids learned that God is holy. He is totally perfect, totally good, and completely different from anything else in all of creation! (Isaiah 6)

When Isaiah saw God’s holiness, he realized how big and amazing God is. Even though God is holy and we are not, God made a way for us to know Him through Jesus! 🙌

💛 Big Truth: I am meant to know God.

📖 Theme Verse: “This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent—Jesus Christ.” – John 17:3

🏡 Dive Deeper at Home:

Read Isaiah 6:1–8 together and talk about:
• What does it mean that God is holy?
• How did Isaiah respond when he saw how holy God is?
• Why do you think God wants us to know Him?
• How does Jesus make a way for us to have a relationship with God?

Pray together and thank God for being holy, perfect, and for loving us enough to make a way for us to know Him. 💙

This Sunday at Kids United…

We’re closing out the Old Testament with Malachi, a prophet sent to confront God’s people when their worship had grown cold and careless. They were offering blemished sacrifices, ignoring God’s commands, and treating His covenant lightly, yet God still called them to return to Him.

Malachi also pointed ahead to a coming messenger who would prepare the way for the Messiah, Jesus.

✨ MAIN POINT:
God calls His people away from empty religion and back to wholehearted devotion—and He is faithful to restore.

💡 CHRIST CONNECTION:
Malachi called God’s people to turn from sin and look forward to the coming Messiah. Later, God sent John the Baptist to prepare the way for Jesus, who brings forgiveness and new life to all who repent and believe.

This Wednesday at Kids United, we learned that **God’s love is faithful**—we can always trust it and count on it! 💛 Even when God’s people messed up, He kept His promises (Deuteronomy 29–32) . The greatest way He showed His faithful love was by sending Jesus for us!

Our Theme Verse:
📖 *“Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love—but the greatest of these is love.”* – 1 Corinthians 13:13

💬 Ask your child:

* What does it mean that God’s love is faithful?
* How has God shown His love to us?

🎉 **Memory Verse Challenge!** If your child memorizes the verse, they’ll get a prize! 🎁

🙌 This Sunday at Kids United…

After the walls were rebuilt and God’s Word was read, the people responded with worship, confession, and commitment. They remembered all God had done—from rescuing them from Egypt to bringing them back from exile—and they saw how faithful He had been, even when they weren’t.

Kids will be reminded that God is gracious, compassionate, and faithful to His people.

✨ MAIN POINT:
Remembering God’s faithfulness leads us to worship, repentance, and renewed obedience.

💡 CHRIST CONNECTION:
God’s people promised to obey, but they still failed. Only Jesus obeyed God perfectly. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we receive grace, forgiveness, and life forever with God.

❓ BIG PICTURE QUESTION:
