This Sunday at Kids United…

This week we learned that Jesus was tempted by Satan in the wilderness, but He never sinned. Even when the devil tried to get Jesus to disobey God, Jesus stood firm and obeyed His Father perfectly.

Jesus showed us that He is the sinless Savior we need. Where we fail and give in to temptation, Jesus never did. Because He lived a perfect life, died on the cross, and rose again, we can be forgiven and made right with God through faith in Him.

✨ MAIN POINT:
Jesus was tempted and never sinned.

💡 CHRIST CONNECTION:
Like us, Jesus experienced temptation. But unlike us, Jesus never sinned. When we repent and believe Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose again, God credits us with Jesus’ perfect life.

❓ BIG PICTURE QUESTION:
Is Jesus God or a human?
👉 Jesus is fully God and fully human.

📖 KEY PASSAGE:
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14

✨ Unit 20, Session 3 — Jesus Was Tempted
(Matthew 4; Mark 1; Luke 4)

🌟 Wednesdays at Kids United Recap 🌟
This week we learned an important truth: God cares about our thoughts! 🧠✨

Through our lesson from 1 Peter 1:13–25, we talked about how our thoughts affect the way we live. God doesn’t just care about our actions on the outside—He also cares about what is happening on the inside. When our thoughts are focused on God, they help us live in a way that honors Him and points others to Him.

We also talked about why this can be hard. Because of sin, our thoughts can be distracted, selfish, fearful, or unkind. But God did not leave us stuck there. He sent Jesus to rescue us from sin and make a way for us to have a relationship with Him. When we trust in Jesus, He changes us and helps us set our minds on what is good and true.

📖 Theme Verse:
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.” — John 6:38

🎉 Parents: Kids who come back and say their theme verse from memory will receive a prize!

💬 Talk About It at Home:
• Why do our thoughts matter to God?
• How do our thoughts affect our words and actions?
• How does Jesus help us live set apart?

If you ever need help navigating these questions, we would love to help!

This Sunday at Kids United…

This week we learned about a powerful moment in Jesus’ life—when John baptized Jesus in the Jordan River. Even though Jesus never sinned, He chose to be baptized in obedience to God’s plan and to show us the perfect example of what it means to follow God.

When Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens opened, the Holy Spirit came down like a dove, and God the Father said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” This moment showed us exactly who Jesus is—the Son of God!

✨ MAIN POINT:
Jesus obeyed God by being baptized.

💡 CHRIST CONNECTION:
Jesus obeyed His Father by being baptized. Later, He obeyed by dying on the cross for our sins and rising again so that everyone who trusts in Him can have eternal life.

🌟Wednesdays at Kids United Recap 🌟
This week we learned an amazing truth about God: **God cares about me! ❤️✨**

Through the story of Easter, we saw just how much God loves us. Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for our sin—but that wasn’t the end of the story! On the third day, Jesus came back to life, showing that He is more powerful than sin and death. Because Jesus is alive, we can have a relationship with God forever!

This story reminds us that we matter to God. He invites each of us to know Him, not because of anything we’ve done, but because of His great love for us. When we trust and follow Jesus, He changes our lives and helps us live set apart for Him.

📖 Theme Verse:
“For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.” — John 6:38

🎉 Parents: Kids who come back and say their theme verse from memory will receive a prize!

💬 Talk About It at Home:
• How did God show that He cares about you?
• Why is it important that Jesus is alive?
• What does it mean to have a relationship with God?

If you ever need help navigating these questions, we would love to help! 💛

This Sunday at Kids United…

This week we celebrated the greatest news of all—Jesus died on the cross and rose again to defeat sin and death! Even though Jesus never sinned, He chose to take the punishment for our sin because of His great love for us.

When Jesus died, it seemed like the end—but it wasn’t! On the third day, the tomb was empty, and Jesus was alive! This is the good news of the gospel: through Jesus, we can be forgiven and have eternal life.

✨ MAIN POINT:
Jesus died on the cross and rose again to defeat sin and death.

💡 CHRIST CONNECTION:
Even though Jesus never sinned, He went to the cross for our sin. Jesus forgives everyone who repents and believes that He died and rose again.

❓ BIG PICTURE QUESTION:
Who is Jesus?
👉 Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, who came to earth to save us.

📖 KEY PASSAGE:
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16

✨ Easter Bonus Session 2 — Jesus Saves Us to Follow Him (Matthew 27–28; Mark 15–16; Luke 23–24; John 19–20)

TONIGHT
FROM BELOW: Good Friday Night of Worship

When Jesus was crucified…
darkness thought it had won.

But what looked like defeat
was the turning point of eternity.

Tonight, we gather to remember the weight of the cross—to sit in the tension of Friday before the victory of Sunday.

We’ll be worshipping in the rounds, surrounding the space together to create a deeper, more intimate moment—fixing our eyes on Jesus not as spectators, but as one body.

Tonight at 7:00 PM
Childcare available for nursery ages only (0-4years)

Come don’t rush past this moment.
Come be still.
Come encounter Jesus.

Let’s step into the story—together.
