Postpartum doesn’t just change your sleep schedule — it changes your brain, your marriage, your identity, and sometimes your mental health.

On The Device Girls Podcast , we had an honest conversation about:
✔️ Postpartum depression & anxiety
✔️ Postpartum psychosis
✔️ Mom guilt
✔️ Relationship shifts
✔️ The effects on dads
✔️ Navigating the newborn phase with realistic expectations

These conversations matter. The more we talk about it, the less alone moms and dads feel.

If you’re expecting, newly postpartum, or walking alongside someone who is — I encourage you to watch.

Motherhood looks good on you, sis. 💁🏻‍♀️✨

Yes, you.
The one reheating her coffee for the third time.
The one doing snack distribution like it’s a full-time job.
The one who hasn’t peed alone since 2019.

You are ROCKING this.
Tag a mama who needs to hear this and save it for yourself for later😘

Becoming parents doesn’t just change your routine — it changes you. And that’s not only okay. It’s necessary🫶🏻

Sleep will be low.
Emotions will be high.
Grace will be necessary.

This is not mom vs. dad.
It’s you two vs. the hard day.

Pray in the dark.
Say thank you often.
Apologize quickly.
Choose unity, especially when you’re tired.

Your baby doesn’t need perfect parents.
They need connected ones.

And if you need the reminder — you’re doing better than you think. Jesus gave that little bundle to you two, specifically. He knew you could do it.🤍

Save this for a hard night.
Send it to a new mom & dad.
And if you need support, I’m here — in-home & virtual through Milk + Honey Concierge Nursing.

✨POSTPARTUM MAMA TIP✨

Create a “postpartum cart” for every main living space in your home.

Because once you’re nap-trapped under a sleeping baby, the last thing you want to do is get up for wipes, snacks, or your pump parts. 🙃

Here are essentials I recommend to my clients:

✨ For baby:
• Burp cloths
• Wipes
• Diapers
• Extra onesie
• Pacifiers
• Swaddle
• Hand sanitizer

✨ For mom:
• Protein-rich snacks (trail mix, protein bars, beef sticks)
• Large water bottle/electrolytes
• Breast pads
• Ni**le cream
• Pump + extra parts
• Phone charger
• Hair tie + lip balm

Protein and consistent hydration are especially important in the postpartum season — your body is healing, regulating hormones, and possibly producing milk. Skipping meals can impact energy, mood, and supply. Having easy, grab-and-go options within arm’s reach makes a huge difference.

Convenience isn’t lazy.
It’s strategic. 🤍

If you’re preparing for baby or already in the thick of it, I’d love to support you.
I offer in-person and virtual postpartum + newborn support through Milk + Honey Concierge Nursing. DM or call/text us for more info!🫶🏻

Postpartum is holy… and can be heavy.

If you’re in the thick of newborn days — healing, exhausted, emotional, in love, overwhelmed — you are not failing. You are becoming.

These verses are the ones I come back to (and often share with my mamas) when the nights feel long and the doubts get loud. God is especially near to the weary. He gently leads those who have young. He gives strength when ours runs out.

If today feels hard, let this be your reminder:
You were chosen for your baby.
Grace covers what exhaustion magnifies.
And His mercy is new — even after the longest night.

Save this for your 2am feed 🤍
And if you need extra support in this season, I offer in-home and virtual newborn + postpartum guidance through Milk + Honey Concierge Nursing. You don’t have to walk this alone.

Wake windows are one of the biggest keys to better sleep—especially in those early weeks 🤍💤

Keeping your baby awake too long can lead to overtiredness, short naps, and extra fussiness… but putting them down too early can cause false starts.

Use this guide as a starting point, not a rulebook. Every baby is unique, and sleepy cues always matter more than the clock ⏰✨

If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or second-guessing naps and bedtime, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I offer custom sleep consultations through Milk + Honey Concierge Nursing—both in-person and virtual—to help you create a plan that actually works for your baby and your family.

💌 DM me or visit our website to book a consult or ask questions. As always, you’re doing great, Mama🫶🏻

A postpartum reminder I share often—because moms need to hear it more than once✨

The version of yourself you’re being hardest on?
That’s your baby’s favorite person in the world. And the version Jesus chose specifically for them.

From a nurse and mama who sees postpartum up close every day: healing isn’t linear, confidence takes time, and your baby doesn’t need a “better” you—just you.

If this resonated with you, save it for the hard days. And remember that your peace is important - it’s good and necessary to ask for help🤍 We’re here for you in the thick of it, Mama.

Mastitis is a common postpartum condition—and when recognized early, it’s very manageable.

Understanding symptoms, risk factors, and when to seek care can prevent complications and support continued feeding and recovery.

As a postpartum & newborn night concierge nurse, I support families overnight by protecting rest, maintaining feeding rhythms, helping with feeding/latching, and catching concerns early—because prevention and early intervention matter.

🤍Save this post for reference and share with a new mama. We’re all in this together - rocking it🫶🏻

What a year 2025 has been for Milk + Honey Nursing✨

As we continue to grow, we are refining our approach with intention and care.

Beginning soon, our in-home newborn night care will be scheduled shift by shift, with families booking up to three shifts at a time, rather than extended weekly blocks. Advance booking remains available and encouraged.

This thoughtful change comes from three years of experience—learning what best serves newborns, supports families during their most delicate season, and sustains the exceptional nurses who provide this level of care.

Availability will be limited throughout the year, but we are didicated to serving as many families as our team is able.

It is a true honor to be invited into these quiet, sacred nights. We look forward to serving even more families in 2026 🤍

🫶🏻Thank you for loving us well!

🗓️ Our booking procedure will remain the same, via our website and/or email. Be on the lookout for updates to our website in the coming weeks! We can’t wait to meet you
