Patient Spotlight!

Marci is a single mom of 4. Her life changed 9 1/2 years ago when she sustained a C7 incomplete spinal cord injury from an auto accident. After months of rehab, she was able to return home, living with her parents.

Marci has faced many setbacks throughout her recovery, but she has overcome each and everyone of them. She pushes herself to reach goals and lets us push her as well!

She has every reason to be proud of herself! In 2022, she stepped out of her box and competed to become Ms KS Wheelchair! This led to competing for Ms Wheelchair USA in Michigan.

Her most precious accomplishment occurred 5 years ago. Through her hard work, she was able to move into her own home and be a mom again!

Marci, thank you for sharing your journey with us and trusting us to be a part of it! All of us at Abilene PT are so proud of you!!

JoAnne is a pro at keeping our day running smoothly! She is a "Jack of all trades"! From cleaning, laundry, fixing things, repairing the leather on our tables... but most importantly, assisting us with each patient that comes in our doors! We are thankful for all that she does!!
