🎄✨ We had a wonderful evening taking our residents on a Christmas Lights tour, with our final stop at Christmas Lane at the Abilene State Supported Living Center. This stop was extra special, as one of our residents has proudly served on the board there for over 30 years—making the experience even more meaningful. ❤️✨

If you get the chance, be sure to take a drive out to ASSLC and enjoy all the beautiful displays—including ours! The last night to see the lights is Sunday, December 28, so don’t miss it. 🎄🚗✨

🎭✨ Our residents had a hoot with Nick Walters during his recent visit! As part of his engaging performance about Clarence Charles “Ducky” Nash, the legendary voice actor known for his animal sounds before his big break with Walt Disney, Nick brought history to life in the most entertaining way.

Residents even learned how to make a barred owl call, filling the room with laughter, learning, and plenty of enthusiastic “who cooks for you?” moments! 🦉😄 It was an unforgettable, hands-on experience that blended storytelling, history, and fun.

🎭✨ We were delighted to welcome Nick Walters back to our community once again! This time, he entertained our residents as a 1930s milkman who got his big break as a voice character for Walt Disney.

Nick’s storytelling brought history to life with humor, charm, and fascinating details that kept everyone engaged from start to finish. We always look forward to his visits and can’t wait to have him back again! ❤️🎶

🎶🎄✨ What a joyful and heartwarming performance!

Today, we were delighted by a fantastic performance from Betty Hardwick Adaptive Recreation, who brought incredible energy, talent, and holiday cheer to our community. ❤️

We sang along to favorites like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Feliz Navidad (while they signed!), laughed along with their jokes, and even learned the history behind The Night Before Christmas before it was beautifully recited. To top it all off, they danced their hearts out to All I Want for Christmas Is You—leaving us smiling from ear to ear! 😄💃

Thank you, Betty Hardwick Adaptive Recreation, for making this holiday season even more special and memorable.
