Introducing the latest addition to STL USA's technical training center, a dry transformer, which would be located in the turbine nacelle.

There are 2 types of transformer systems in wind; a Switchgear + up tower (Dry Transformer), or a down tower (Wet Transformer) + tied to Grid feeder.

STL USA’s technical site now has both Dry/Wet type Transformers and Switchgear, enabling us to offer both types of transformer grounding procedures as part of our electrical and technical programs.
