I had a small but great class in Pittsburg, PA this last week! Teaching the 5 day MLD certification class prepared each of them to expand their practice and help their clients with new skills and a deeper understanding of the body and lymphatic system!

Someone very special to me passed a few weeks ago and this is my first time to post anything publicly about it. I tend to get quiet when I'm grieving.
Eric was a brilliant teacher and mentor. He was a glowing example of what it meant to stay curious and never stop learning.
I remember at one of his workshops I teased him from the audience to which he later called me out somewhat abruptly. Fearing I had possibly offended him I went to him after class with the intention of apologizing and saying I didn't intend to be offensive. Instead all that came out of my mouth was, "I love you, Eric." He stopped, looked me at me for a moment and said, "I love you too." We hugged and both went on our way. I think Eric loved all of his students just as we all loved him. But he didn't LOOOVVVVVEEEE them. lol. (that's a joke he often made about our clients at his workshops)
Eric is without a doubt the most influential person in my career to this day. I often find myself looking back at videos, pictures, articles when I find myself with an unusual client on my table. I often ask myself, How would Eric approach this?
He left an indelible mark on me and so many others. He will be deeply, deeply missed.
