Uniting in Strength: Nurturing Body, Mind, and Spirit

Let's make 2026 a milestone year by prioritizing our health and defying the statistics that claim breast cancer takes the most lives among our group.

At Pink Cap Warriors and Sisters Building Sisters Support Group, we're dedicated to empowering women to live longer, healthier lives—for their own sake, their families, and loved ones.

Over the coming months, we'll be exploring Gentle Exercise, focusing on how movement fosters healing, reduces stress, and fortifies overall well-being. We're also wanting a licensed professional social worker to guide us in nurturing our mental and emotional health.

A Gentle Note About Expertise

We respect each woman's journey and rely on trained professionals to provide safe, accurate, and helpful information. Our members deserve guidance rooted in education, enabling them to make informed decisions for their health and families.

Why Your Expertise Matters

Our group meets on Saturdays to accommodate working mothers who can't attend weekday sessions. By sharing your knowledge, you're not just teaching—you're:
• Saving lives through awareness and prevention
• Strengthening families by supporting the woman at their core
• Empowering mothers who often put others first
• Creating lasting change, because when a woman learns, her whole household benefits

Your expertise can reach women who might otherwise go without this vital information.

As we close out Heart Health Month, let's talk about something every woman needs to know. ❤️

Heart attacks in women don't always look like what we see in the movies. Symptoms can be subtle and easy to dismiss. Your body whispers before it screams. Listen to it.

While women under age 40 previously accounted for about 4% of breast cancer cases in the U.S., even a modest rise in breast cancer incidence is a call to action for young women to know what is normal for their breast. Women under 40 are more likely to be diagnosed at later stages with more aggressive breast cancers than older women. This is why it's important to educate yourself to be breast self-aware.
1. Know Your Normal.
2. Know Your Risk.
3. Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle.
4. Get Screened. If you are under 40 and are at average risk, be sure to have a clinical breast exam at least every 3 years starting at age 25, and every year starting at age 40. Learn more at the link in our bio.
