Halloween at the Plaza promises to be a special, spooky night. Don your most daring costumes and bring the whole fam out, for tricks and treats and heaps of fun.

The Halls will be filled with local shops opening their doors with treats, and a Haunted House greets anyone Brave Enough to Enter.

The tricks ‘n treats is free of course, and the Haunted House has a small fee

We are really excited for this weekend, and all the new folks who will be with us for the very first time, along with the tried and true.

The day promises to be full of creative neighbors, sharing in many mediums. There will be music and food and local shopping and swapping galore.

Today will be full of amazing musicians from across Abilene and West Tejas. Come by Play Faire Park and give some love to Doc and Melanie for their decades of friendship and support for local music, and local creators of every kind.

There will never be another Doc, he is a true original. We will forever be grateful for all he has given our community, and Abilene will always be a brighter place because of the generations of creative people he inspired.

Join us today, Saturday October 11th, for our second day of Farewell Fest.! It's going to be another fun filled day of swapping stories of cherished memories here at Play Faire. The air will be filled one last time with music and laughter. Let's make a few more memories to carry with us as we say farewell and thank you. Thank you to all the musicians and vendors who helped make day 1 something special. Thank you also to everyone who just came out to be a part of the magic. Thanks to all the musicians, vendors and everyone else that are coming out to make today every bit as special as yesterday. This is the love, support and community that we have always loved about being Play Faire Park. As we have always said, we love what we do and we love all of you. We are so happy that we have one more day to spend with you all. We have a lot of musicians lined up today so music is starting early with The Daughters of Wanda kicking things off at 2:30pm and going all the way until we close the gates. See y'all real soon!
