We are HAMILTON TK ENTERPRISES, INC, a FedEx Ground contractor, out of Abilene, Texas. We are looking for responsible Delivery Drivers to distribute products/merchandise safely and efficiently to our customers.
We are hiring regular full-time individuals with strong work ethic to make local residential and business deliveries (CDL license not required).
If you have been a local driver, route driver, truck driver, courier, pick-up driver, delivery driver, and you have driven for UPS, Amazon, DHL, previous FedEx companies, Wal-Mart, Uber, Lyft, or any other similar companies...that is already an advantage! We have a job waiting for you as we are hiring immediately.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Be at least 21 years of age
* Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
* Pass a drug test (includes ma*****na) with continued random drug screens throughout employment
* Pass DOT physical
* Be able to safely lift/carry up to 75lbs. and up to 150lbs
* Pass FedEx criminal background check
* Have reliable transportation to and from work. Be on time and ready to work.
* Be able to climb stairs
* Be able to work in all types of weather
* Have a positive attitude and a lot of initiative
DAILY DUTIES include but not limited to:
* Your vehicle must be operated safely at all times
*Delivery and pick-up of packages to businesses and residences. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform minimum of 150 stops a day depending on daily volume.
* Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels
* Loading vehicle and organizing daily loads
* Provide exceptional customer service and great communication skills with manager
* Integrity is a must
* Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
* 5-6 workdays (weekends as needed depending on volume)
Paid training will be provided covering delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
