Cold Cove Technologies has just released a new version of the beehive weighing scale that has longer battery time and a low battery alarm. It is designed to work with 8 Frame hives as well as 10 Frame hives.

Beta Testing Underway!

Beta testing of our first beehive weight scale is underway in
Boone
Charlotte
Clayton
Henderson
Mars Hill
Raleigh
Vass

The best testing is to assure that the scale is fit for the outdoor beehive environment.

The scale measures the beehive weight throughout the day and reports the highest reading on the build-in display. Historical data is available for up to 99 days.

We thank the beta testers for their feedback, suggestions and recommendations.

Marcia Bryant wins a Weighing Scale at the NCSBA Conference in Hickory

Congratulations to Marcia Bryant of Vass, NC who won a Cold Cove Technologies weighing scale, which was drawn at the NCSBA conference in Hickory on July 9th.

Marcia is a member of the Moore County Beekeepers Club and uses an 8-frame hive. From Marcia and others we learned that we need to accommodate both 10-frame and 8-frame designs.
