For decades, doctors and patients have both been mislead about hormone therapy in women. Because of this so many women have suffered unnecessarily. As Dr. Rogers says in this reel, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy does not cause breast cancer.

The difference between a good primary care doctor and a not so good primary care doctor is a good one knows what's serious and what isn't serious.

Tennis, pickleball and ping pong have long been seen as “sports you can play for a lifetime”. But turns out they add years to your life too! Studies show that playing tennis can add over 9 years to your life versus someone who is sedentary. Get out there and play some tennis or pickleball!

Ever left a doctor’s visit feeling like you didn’t get the help you needed? 🏥 Here’s a pro tip: before your next appointment, write down the top 1 or 2 concerns that matter most to you. Focusing your visit helps your doctor help YOU, prevents overwhelm, and gets you better results!

These enzymes are not all the same.

Nattokinase, lumbrokinase, and serrapeptase may be in the same broader category, but they each do different things. Lumbrokinase is more potent. Nattokinase is often the more practical choice for clot regulation support. Serrapeptase is used more for pain, inflammation, and chronic tissue damage or scarring.

Different tools. Different uses.

Magnesium is one of the most important minerals in the body, and most people have no idea how much it actually does.

It’s involved in over 600 processes in the body and plays a role in things like thyroid function, hormone balance, blood sugar regulation, cortisol balance, mood, blood pressure, sleep, gut health, and brain health. That’s why when magnesium is low, people can feel the effects in a lot of different ways.

It’s doing far more behind the scenes than most people realize.

You don’t treat a number. You treat a patient.

HRV is one of those rare numbers you actually want to be high. A higher HRV is generally a sign of resilience. A lower HRV can be a sign that your body is under more stress.

A lot of things can bring HRV down, including poor sleep, alcohol, overtraining, under eating, dehydration, illness, emotional stress, blood sugar swings, and inflammation. In some cases, HRV may even drop before you feel the first symptoms of getting sick.

That’s why it can be such a useful number to track. Sometimes your body is telling you something before you fully feel it.

Boys and girls do not always show mental health struggles the same way.

Girls are more likely to show signs of depression or engage in self-harm. Boys may be more likely to shut down, hide what they are feeling, or act out when things reach a breaking point.

That is why parents, teachers, and caregivers need to know what to look for. The warning signs are not always obvious, and they may not look the same from child to child.

The better we understand these differences, the better we can support kids early and get them the help they need. Child Psychiatrist Dr. Tyler Wilson goes over this in this reel.

We can do the same thing in our clinics as they do with Executive Physicals in the Cleveland clinic. The only difference is, as Dr. Rogers says in this reel, we know the patient. We think that more patients should be doing their in depth screenings with their local practitioners. It's better because they know you.
