Our office is looking to a hire a part time Front Desk Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant. This is a great opportunity for an energetic and self-motivated person to join our office team. This person needs to have initiative, energy, and must show the highest degree of professionalism while being personable.
This position entails several duties around the office, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments and verifying insurances.

Responsibilities include:
- Check-in, check-out, rooming patients, as well as the collection of copays and accurate entry of patient demographic and insurance information in the practice's EMR system.
- Greeting patients and guests warmly and courteously.
- Obtain and verify necessary clinical, demographic and insurance information and referrals.
- Obtain insurance information and documents.
- Schedule patient appointments as necessary.
- Assist patients with questions or concerns regarding their treatment plan as dictated by the healthcare provider and provide patients with needed information and resources to actively participate in their healthcare.

- Maintain strictest confidentiality; adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
- Completes additional projects and duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications: Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Professionalism.

Prior experience working in a healthcare setting is preferred but we will train the right person.

Day and evening (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) as well as Saturday morning hours are available. Approximately 25-30 hours per week

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, outgoing, team player to join our office team.

Computer experience is required.

Prior chiropractic/medical office experience is a preferred, however we are willing to train the right person.

Must be dependable, flexible, have a great personality, excellent communication skills, be a self starter and highly motivated.

Must be able to take direction and have a strong work ethic.

THIS POSITION WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING DUTIES:

Front Desk work including, but not limited to: greeting patients, answering a multi-line phone system, making calls, scheduling appointments, collecting payments, data entry, filing, end of shift clean-up and various basis office duties.

Some assistance with patient care.

DAY, EVENING AND SATURDAY HOURS AVAILABLE

Ideally, this individual will also have flexibility to cover vacations and sick days.

No phone calls please.
